Alison Prosser

Alison Prosser is a Scottish visual artist who works in oils and mixed media.

Alison Prosser has lived in Edinburgh for many years. She spent her childhood on a farm and sometimes refers to this in her pictures.

She has used art as an important part of her recovery from depression. She studied at Leith School of Art and completed a degree at Edinburgh College of Art while she was very unwell. She then completed a postgraduate diploma at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen.

She paints in oils and mixed media. She has been exhibited by the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour, Visual Arts Scotland and the Society of Scottish Artists.
