Patrick Butterworth

Patrick Butterworth is a Glasgow based artist who creates detailed and striking paintings and drawings from a number of different sources.

Painting and drawing has been a way of life for Patrick Butterworth. Though not academically trained for most of his life his free time has been spent recreating images from photos. The years spent doing this have resulted in careful attention to detail.

In recent years Pat has rediscovered oils,  allowing vivid colours to be twinned with his careful attention to detail. Pat is most contented when in front of an easel, happily spending hours and days until his work has finished.

Patrick's artworks bring similar contentment to those who have been lucky enough to enjoy them.
