Claire Brown

Claire Brown is an Scottish painter who works in acrylic and oils, using bold colour to create striking pieces of work.

From an early age I have been a keen artist. I would say my initial love of drawing cartoon characters on paper progressed onto my colourful creations on canvas.

Over the past four years, my work has flourished thanks to being given the opportunity to attend art classes at Delta Studios in Larbert.

Although I have been diagnosed with an Autistic Spectrum Condition, I feel the medium of art allows me to convey my thoughts and feelings.

I would say the common elements of my artwork are the bright vibrant colours I use which mirror my fun-loving personality.

My work has been successful wherever it has been exhibited and I welcome the opportunity for The Gallery On The Corner to exhibit my work. I look forward to my continuing future in the world of art.
